Top Fashion Trend Spotter Passes Away

One of the most eccentric figures in the world of fashion, and according to a wide variety of critics, also one of the world’s most original, passed away in a hospital days ago at the age of only 48. Isabella Blow has been described by society magazine editor Geordie Greig, who works for Tatler, as a bright star in the world of fashion who was incredibly funny, kind and whose passing leaves a vast void in fashion’s cosmos. Blow was said to be a very electrifying person to be in the presence of, always ready to dazzle those around her with her inspired sense of creativity and willingness to do the unexpected in an effort to invigorate the room. She had been the fashion director of Tatler for a 6 year period and during that time, according to reports, made quite an impression with the journalists there.

According to her own admission, Blow, who was named Isabella Delves Broughton at birth, had early plans to become a nun, but she also received training in order to be a secretary. Her entire persona was said to be a real expression of the British tendency to eccentricity that fashion embraced during her lifetime. Her family, as well, were noted to be eccentrics, with many of them interested in fashion, too. The trend setter assisted models in their careers, choosing such stars as Sophie Dahl, Honor Fraser and Stella Tennant to support with her ability to inspire and motivate. She is seem as a true asset to British fashion, particularly during the 1990s.
